SS“Woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promises to keep. Miles to go before I Sleep”. This line by Robert Frost touches my heart and I am always excited for an adventure trip. So we friends decided to conquer the highest peak of West Bengal located at the heart of Himalayas. Climbing up to the pinnacle of Darjeeling SANDAKPHU DARJEELING was not an easy task. We set our mind to reach the peak by hook or by crook. Before starting our trek we checked the weather forecasts and the routes. Finally, the date was fixed and out of my love for dramatic names, we name d the trek as “MISSION SANDAKPHU HIGEST PEAK OF WESTBENGAL”. We made our base camp in Darjeeling for the first day and decided to track from Manebhanjyang the next morning. The level of excitement within everyone was soaring up towards its threshold. When we reach Manebhanjyang, I first notice the Landrover Car which is rare in this region, and we had our breakfast there and went to nearby forest check post to gather information about Sandakphu ,there have to take a pass from the regional authority of forest because of the route to SANDAKPHU cover s the SANGILILA NATIONAL PARK after completing the formalities we start tracking towards Sandakphu, the temperature at Manebhanjyang at that time was around 4 degrees celc,it was freezing cold though we have not experienced such cold here I Siliguri , We start our journey from Manebhanjyang early in the morning we boost our speed start climbing the hills ,with the dense forest surrounded by the pine tree ,suddenly after boosting up the speed we starting realizing that we are working against the gravity so it’s very difficult to reach our destiny with the same speed and we slow our speed and start tracking with the dense forest enjoying the scenic beauty of nature . Everyone was excited to see the snow after walking about 10 km away from Manebhanjyang we all were thirsty we look our waterbottle we all were surprised to see that the water carried in water bottle was freeze and that time we realize that our destiny is not so far, we start tracking through the Indo Nepal border ,we enter the Ilam district of Nepal . At that time we realized that we have achieved something in our life we feel proud that we begin our journey from India and we reach Nepal, We decided to halt at Tanglu, we stay in one of the lodges in Nepal at taglu . It was our first night at such a cold place. Although it was freezing cold there, we soon slept as we were all tired due to a day’s walk. The next morning was a lovely one. The whole ground was covered with white frost, and sunshine made it look even more beautiful. That was the time to perceive the beauty of our surrounding without internet and gadgets by actually experiencing it,. That made us realize what we were missing in crowded cities. We chatted with locals and SSB personals, they were all friendly. After our breakfast at about 8:30 in the morning we started off for our destination. It was our third day since we left from home the first part of the route was steep one with the dense forest. We were told about the dangers of a bear being found there. Though we found none, we were actually afraid. After trekking for about 2 hours we reached Kalpokhari. The water of the lake was all frozen, though small it was a beautiful lake. We also got the first glimpse of the peak from here. There we had some food and special meat of yak only found in this region. Our destiny is not so far with great enthusiasm and excitement mood we again boost up our speed seeing the milestone SANDAKPHU 5km everyone was tired but the excitement to reach our destiny made us forget the tiredness and keep ourselves moving the zig-zag tracking route.Passing through the Indo-Nepal surrounded by the Chap and Gurash (Flower that is only found in this region) .on our way we found some frozen streams, gossiping with each other how people survive here ,we was about to reach SANDAKPHU we see the range of mountain that realize our destiny is not so far ,when we saw the Milestone SANDAKPHU 0 km we glad that we conquer the highest peak but nothing was there, Again after 5 min of walk we see some hut and guest houses and we feel like we were in heaven, covered with white layer of snow freezing cold wind speed was almost 35 km per hour, and we realize that is the precious gift that the nature gives us . We all were eagerly waiting for the morning sunshine, in the view of morning sunshine was the best part of the trip golden color of ray touches the ground. So I was an unexpected piece of luck that I had in my life I personally suggest once visit SANDAKPHU in your life for More information visit travel2hills.com

card, and memory, contain very delicate Integrated Circuit (IC) chips. To protect computers against damage from static electricity, eliminating the damage from ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) can save a lot of money. Here are some warnings you must remember and follow some precautions whenever you work on your computer. You must unplug the power cord to ensure that there is no power to the motherboard. Always use an anti-static wrist strap when working on a computer except when working on monitors Capacitors can still store electric charge for a short from the time you turned off the power switch, so it's a wise to make is to wait a few minutes after pulling the plug before working on your PC. Use a grounded wrist strap before handling computer components such as the video card, memory, hard disk, and etc. if you do not have one, touch both of your hands to a safety grounded object or to a metal object, such as the power supply case Hold components in both edges and try not to touch the IC chips, leads, capacitors, or circuitry as these are miniature electronic components and it may damage. One end is an elastic band that fits around your wrist and which is connected to an alligator clip by a wire. The clip connects to a metal part of the computer chassis, which equalizes the voltage between you and the computer, thus avoiding static sparks. Place components on a grounded anti-static pad or on the bag that came with the components whenever the components are separated from the system. Remember, avoid dropping your hard disk in the surface or in the floor because cylinder of the hard disk is sensitive which may cause not to working at all. Don’t ever touch the non-serviceable. When you come across labels that say "No serviceable components inside" don't take it as a challenge because it’s a serious statement. Keep in mind that failure in protecting yourself can cause injuries and it can also damage your computer and the most common accident is erasing stored data. Always grasp a metal part of the computer chassis with your bare hand before you touch anything inside. Do this even if you are wearing an anti-static wristband. Always handle electronic components by a non-conducting (non-metallic) edge. Don't touch the pins or other connectors. Never plug an ATX power supply into AC power unless it is connected either to a computer's motherboard or to a dummy test load. Always use a good surge protector or an Uninterruptible Power Supply that incorporates surge and spike protection. Never eat, drink, or smoke while working on a computer.

It is a very common question your friends can ask you anytime. When someone invented the typewriter, why didn't he put the A-Z keys in sequence? I believe it is certainly an obvious question for any computer/type writer noob. Infect when I started with my hands on computer keyboard, even I had this question. Lets find it out
The layout of the computer keyboard was borrowed from the typewriter because there had been millions of people using typewriter when the computer keyboard was designed. To minimize the re-training efforts, most of the keys on the keyboard were at the same position as they did on the typewriter. Initially in 1860s, the characters on the typewriters were arranged in alphabetical order. At that time a typewriter use to work using a set on the end of a metal bar which strikes the paper when its key was pressed. However, this procedure was not at all compatible to type faster. Still an operator had learned to type at speed by facing lot complications. Letters that placed close together on the keyboard became tangled with one another, forcing the typist to manually unstick the type bars. This also caused staining the document frequently and jams in typewriter machine. A business associate suggested using nice trick by splitting most commonly keys to speed up typing, so that they also don't get tangled very often. Rearrangement of keys introduced the word QWERTY, the most commonly used modern-day keyboard layout. QWERTY keyboard layoutQWERTY is designed for English language. By all means the purpose was to rearrange the keys that were expected to be used in quick sequence were less expected to hold up with each other. The top row was planned to have all the letters for the word 'typewriter' hence a typist can easily type the most common words like 'typewriter' more quickly. QWERTY was designed after spending a lot of time on research allowing one hand to move into position while the other hand strikes a key. Thousands of English words can be spelled using only the left hand and right hand separately. And therefore an unfortunate consequence of the layout goes to right-handed typists because more English words can be spelled using only the left hand. QWERTY layout is helpful for those who use their right hand primarily for the mouse leaving the left hand type. Arrangement of keys under QWERTY layout may not sound completely sensible to many of us today as we are now many decades ahead to that time. Want be an good programmer ??
Lest first discuss what is c. is a programming language develop by Dennis Ritchie between 1969 and 1973 at AT&T Bell Labs. Lets see some example of c #include <stdio.h> void main() { printf("\nHello World\n"); // print to screen getch(); } Here #Include<stdio.h> means hadrofile which is predefine I c language where as printf is a function which print whatever things inside” “ getch(); is a predefine function in c. Compile and run this the output of this program is :Hello word Windows Key+MThis is the shortcut to keep in mind when you are at work doing anything but working—it allows you to minimize all of your open windows, leaving just the desktop left exposed. To restore the windows, hit Windows key+Shift+M. Another quick way to do this is Windows key+D, which shows your desktop; to restore, just repeat the same keystroke. This is a handy shortcut to have around the next time your boss is wandering through the office.
Alt+TabThis allows you to easily scroll through all the windows you have open. If you're working in Word and referring to something in Explorer, for example, you can toggle back and forth between the two programs. You can also use this to switch between windows in the same program, making multitasking a breeze. Very similar is Windows key+Tab: In XP, it lets you scroll the items on the taskbar, and in Vista, it starts Flip 3D for a fun graphical spin on the same idea. Alt+F4This shortcut is a quick way to close a window in any program. Alt+Spacebar+C (which requires less stretching, but more keys) and Ctrl+W do the same thing. Any of the ways will allow you to close a window without using your mouse to hit the X in the upper-right corner. Ctrl+Arrow KeysIn Microsoft Word, the left and right arrows allow you to move the cursor to the beginning of the previous word or the next word; the up and down arrows will do the same with paragraphs. This is very helpful when editing a document or scanning for any reason. Shift+DeleteIf you want to delete a file—and you don't want to deal with it later in the Recycle Bin—this is the way to go. Just be absolutely sure that this is a file you won't want back! Hold Shift While Inserting a CDHave you ever wanted to insert a CD and not use it right away? This shortcut allows you to bypass Autorun when inserting a CD so you can control exactly when you will use a CD you've inserted. Ctrl+DragThere are many ways to copy a file, but this just might be the easiest. All you have to do is click on the file, hold, and drag it into its desired location. This works the same as another handy shortcut, Ctrl+C. Windows Key+U+UQuickly shut down Windows by hitting the Windows key (don't hold it down), hitting U to reach the shutdown menu, and then hitting U again to shut down. Windows Key+PauseNeed a quick way to get to the Systems Properties menu without too much thought? Just press these two keys and you'll be brought right to it. |
